irgNET – LAB 5.0
Welcome to the 4th major update of my home lab. In this update I’ve changed the HPE Microserver Gen8 against a HP ML310e Gen8 v2, because it can have 32 GB of Memory and it contains Intel XEON E-v3 CPU just like my DL380 Gen8 servers. In this constellation I have migrated the Veeam Backup VM to the new host, plugged in the external 2 TB USB 3.0 HDD and gave it throug via USB passthrough.
There will be some physical changes in the next updates, the 3 DL380 are unfortunately too noisy by now and have to be moved. Therefore the ML310e, because I want to have some services, including this blog, in the office and some on the large cluster.
Nothing new has happened on the application level, I have maintained my running services with updates and co.
