Today I want to tell you about my unique experience from my first participation of the Dell Technologies World 2022<\/a><\/strong> in Las Vegas. It was like a theme park for passionated technologists. First, let me start with my incredible view from my hotel room – wow:<\/p>\n\n\n

Right after the breakfast, I came across one of our Computacenter<\/a> <\/strong>banners:<\/p>\n\n\n

After that, the first session – Dell VxRail<\/a><\/strong> innovations, probably you are going to hear the news in the next VMware TechUpdate<\/a><\/strong>. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n\n\n

On my way to the first main event, I saw a big banner where the sponsors of the Dell Technologies World<\/strong> 2022<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>were shown and I was more then proud to see, that Computacenter<\/a><\/strong> was a Gold Partner<\/strong> in this great event:<\/p>\n\n\n

Arrived in the huge hall, we waited impatiently for the first Main Keynote:<\/p>\n\n\n

An interesting message from CEO Michael Dell<\/a><\/strong> caught my eye, which I photographed:<\/p>\n\n\n

And now there he was, Michael Dell<\/a><\/strong>, CEO of Dell Technologies<\/a><\/strong> with his famous tweet: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I started Dell Technologies<\/strong> 37 years ago with $1000. Revenues in 1984 were $6 million. Last year’s revenues were $94.2 billion. Impossible is nothing.”<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Together with his colleagues, he told us about the vision of Dell Technologies<\/a><\/strong>, new partnerships and innovations.<\/p>\n\n\n

After the first main event, I decided to take picture of myself with the big Dell Technologies<\/strong> World<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>Logo. Thanks to my mentor Marc Huppert<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n

In the next session we got an insight from 3 Dell customers about their IT Evolution Journey<\/strong> with Dell VxRail<\/a><\/strong>. And at 11 a.m. the Solution Expo<\/strong> opened and quite a few partners presented their solutions. We were also able to ask Dell<\/strong> Specialists<\/strong> questions that had plagued us over the past 2 years in the pandemic and participate in various raffles.<\/p>\n\n\n

Of course, we as Computacenter<\/a><\/strong> were also there with our own booth:<\/p>\n\n\n

Oscar-winning actor, Matthew McConaughey<\/a><\/strong> attended Dell Technologies World 2022<\/strong><\/a> and said: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWell I\u2019ve spoken to many technology companies, and I\u2019ve said: \u2018You\u2019re creating the new Eden\u2026What\u2019s the mission statement?\u2019 You know what they say: \u2018The algorithm will tell us.\u2019 That scares the bleep out of me.\u201d

We had the chance to get insights into Dell Associate as well as Implementation Engineer exams. Where Dell Specialist<\/strong> Steven Blood<\/strong> gave us an overview of the individual exams. In addition, we had the opportunity to test various Dell Technologies<\/a><\/strong> Enterprise solutions in the handson area and possibly discover a new favourite solution such as Dell PowerProtect<\/a><\/strong>, for this I will write a separate article in connection with my HomeLab<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n

At the big evening event another highlight – Gary Clark Jr.<\/a><\/strong> – live on stage with his great songs. My first Blues concert, as a rookie blues guitarist and big Albert King fan by the way. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n

The days were filled with lots of informations, innovations and the long awaited in person reunions of technology enthusiasts. I hope you enjoyed this short insight into Dell Technologies World 2022<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
